Are you a fan of Latin music? If so, you’re in luck because there are many free Latin music events taking place in NYC throughout the year. From live concerts to dance parties, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Here are just a few of the free Latin music events taking place in NYC:

– Concerts in the Park: Every summer, the city of New York hosts free concerts in Central Park. These concerts feature a variety of genres, including Latin music. past performers have included Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, and Marc Anthony.
– Salsa Nights at Crotona Park: Every Wednesday night from June to August, you can enjoy free salsa dancing in Crotona Park. The festivities begin at 7pm and include live music from some of the best salsa bands in the city.
– Brooklyn Salsa Fest: This annual event takes place every September and features live music, dance lessons, and food vendors serving up traditional Latin dishes.

Salsa in the Park

Looking for some free Latin music this summer? Look no further than Salsa in the Park! This free event takes place every Sunday in July and August from 3-7pm at St. Mary’s Park in the South Bronx. Dance to the sounds of live salsa music, or just enjoy the vibes with a cold beverage in hand.

Bachata Thursdays

Join us every Thursday for Bachata Lessons and a Night of Dancing! No partner necessary and beginners are welcome.

Latin Nights at the Brooklyn Museum

Join us for anal evening of music, dancing, and mingling inspired by our newest exhibition, Contemporary Latin American Art from the Brooklyn Museum Collection.

We’ll have a special performance by Grupo Fantasma, one of the most thrilling and boundary-pushing bands in Latin music today. You can also enjoy DJ sets by Uproot Andy and Miss Colombia, craft cocktails inspired by the exhibition, and take in dynamic new works on view in our galleries—including those by980 Juan Carlos Alom, Fannie Sosa, and Beatriz Santiago Muñoz.

The Midsummer Night Swing

The Midsummer Night Swing is a free Latin music event that takes place in NYC every year. This event features a variety of Latin musical genres, including salsa, merengue, and bachata. There is also a food court where you can purchase traditional Latin American food.
