The band is fronted by fungi femme (pronounced “foo-gee”), a self-proclaimed “mystic pixie dream girl” whose hauntingly beautiful voice is reminiscent of early Björk and Siouxsie Sioux. Fungi Femme’s music has been described as “a darkly beautiful blend of psychedelia, goth rock, and ethereal pop” and their live shows are an immersive experience, with projections of dreamy landscapes and art films adding to the atmosphere.
