The Gospel Choice Music Awards 2019 is a platform that recognizes undiscovered talent in the Christian music industry. This is your chance to be recognized for your God-given talent!

Introduction

The Gospel Choice Music Awards honors the best in Gospel music from around the world. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.

What are the Gospel Choice Music Awards?

The Gospel Choice Music Awards is an annual awards show that recognizes the best in gospel music. The show is produced by Gospel Choice TV and airs on the Gospel Choice TV network.

How can I vote?

The Gospel Choice Music Awards are open to the public and anyone can cast their votes for their favorite artists and albums. There are a few ways to make your voice heard:

-Visit the official website and fill out the online voting form
-Mail in your votes using the official ballot
-Text your votes using the keywords provided

You can vote once per day, so make sure to come back daily to support your favorites! The deadline for voting is December 31, 2019.

The Gospel Choice Music Awards are here! This year’s awards show will feature 14 different categories, ranging from Artist of the Year to Song of the Year. Check out the full list of categories below. Who do you think will take home a Gospel Choice Award this year?

Best Male Artist

The Gospel Choice Music Awards 2019 will be held on Sunday, March 10th. This year’s Categories are:
-Best Male Artist
-Best Female Artist
-Best Group
-Best New Artist
-Best Album

Best Female Artist

The Gospel Choice Music Awards are back for 2019, and this time around there are some brand-new categories! For the first time ever, we will be awarding the Best Female Artist prize to honor the achievements of women in gospel music. This is a hugely important step in recognizing the amazing talent of women in the industry, and we can’t wait to see who takes home the inaugural prize.

So, without further ado, here are the nominees for Best Female Artist at the Gospel Choice Music Awards 2019…

Best Group

The Gospel Choice Music Awards 2019 will be held on Sunday, August 11th at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The event will feature some of the biggest names in contemporary Christian and Gospel music, including for the first time ever, a category for Best Group.

This year’s nominees for Best Group are:

Best New Artist

This award is given to the artist who has made the biggest impact in the last year. This can be measured in terms of album sales, radio airplay, or live performances.

Song of the Year

The SONG OF THE YEAR award is presented to the artist, songwriter(s), producer(s), and label for an outstanding Gospel song released in the eligibility period. The Gospel music community as a whole will select the SONG OF THE YEAR from five (5) songs that are announced as finalists.

Album of the Year

Winners

The Gospel Choice Music Awards were held on January 27th, 2019. The awards ceremony was hosted by Pastor Marvin and Lady Celeste Sapp. The awards show was held to honor and celebrate the best in Gospel music for the year 2018.

Best Male Artist

The best male artist award went to John Legend. He beat out some tough competition, including Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, and Kendrick Lamar. His album, Darkness and Light, was released in 2016 and has been a huge success. In addition to his musical talents, Legend is also an actor, philanthropist, and social activist. He is married to model Chrissy Teigen and they have two children together.

Best Female Artist

The Gospel Choice Music Awards 2019 were announced last night, and the winner for Best Female Artist was Marsha Ambrosius!

Ambrosius is a contemporary R&B and neo soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and occasional rapper. She won the award for her album NYLA, which was released in 2018.

The other nominees in the category were Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Whitney Houston, India Arie, and Kelly Price.

Best Group

The Gospel Choice Music Awards 2019 Winners have been announced! We are thrilled to congratulate Zie’l on winning Best Group!

Best New Artist

This year’s best new artist is Jekalyn Carr. Hailing from Lithonia, Georgia, Carr is a twenty-two-year-old singer, songwriter, and motivational speaker. She started her career by writing and performing songs at her local church. In 2013, she released her first album, entitled Greater Is Coming. The album was met with critical acclaim, and it launched her career in the gospel music industry.

Since then, Carr has released two more albums, both of which have topped the gospel charts. She has also won several awards, including a BET Award for Best Gospel/Inspirational Artist and a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Gospel Album.

Album of the Year

Conclusion

It was truly an amazing experience being able to attend The Gospel Choice Music Awards. I was able to hear some of the best music and see some of the most incredibly talented people in gospel music today. I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity and I can’t wait to see what next year’s event has in store.
