The Billboard Gospel Music charts are used to track the most popular gospel songs in the United States.

How are the Billboard Gospel Music charts compiled?

The Billboard Gospel Music charts are compiled by Billboard magazine from sales data collected by SoundScan and radio information collected by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. SoundScan is a system that tracks music sales data by collecting information from more than 14,000 retail outlets worldwide, while Nielsen BDS is a service that monitors radio airplay.

The Billboard Gospel music charts are a ranking of the most popular Gospel music songs in the United States, published weekly by Billboard magazine. The data is compiled by Nielsen SoundScan from a sample that includes music stores, internet sales, and live performances.

The Gospel music charts include Songs, Albums, and Airplay. The Song chart includes digital download and streaming data, while the Album chart includes both traditional and digital album sales. The Airplay chart measures radio airplay across all formats from more than 1,200 stations nationwide.
