The Fairfield Four’s musical style is characterized by close harmony singing, complex vocal arrangements, and a distinctive basso profundo sound. The Fairfield Four was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 1999. In 2000, the group was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
