The Future of the Green Apple Folk Music Society

The Green Apple Folk Music Society has been a part of the Bay Area music scene for over 50 years. We’ve seen a lot of changes in that time, and we’ve always tried to stay true to our mission of promoting and preserving folk music.

As we look to the future, we want to continue to be a place where people can come to enjoy folk music. We also want to be more than just a concert venue. We want to be a place where people can learn about and experience folk music.

To that end, we’re working on some exciting new initiatives that we think will make the Green Apple Folk Music Society an even more vital part of the Bay Area music scene. Here are just a few of the things we’re working on:

-A new focus on educational programming, including workshops, classes, and jams
-An expanded online presence, including a new website and social media platforms
-A renewed commitment to community engagement, including partnerships with local organizations and businesses

We’re excited about these initiatives, and we hope you are too. We think they will help us continue to promote and preserve folk music in the Bay Area for many years to come.
