Here are some of the upcoming festivals for metal music lovers:

-Download Festival Australia: March 20-22, 2020 in Sydney, Australia. Download Festival Australia is the continent’s premier rock and metal event, featuring some of the biggest names in music.

-Wacken Open Air: August 6-8, 2020 in Wacken, Germany. Wacken Open Air is one of the world’s largest metal festivals, attracting over 80,000 fans each year. Expect to see a mix of established and up-and-coming bands playing a variety of metal subgenres.

-Bloodstock Open Air: August 13-16, 2020 in Derbyshire, England. Bloodstock Open Air is a huge celebration of all things metal, with over 100 bands performing across four days. In addition to music, there’s also a camping village and a market selling metal merchandise.

Festival announcements

Here’s some exciting news for all you metalheads out there: a number of huge festivals have recently been announced, so get ready to rock out!

First up is Download Festival, which takes place in Donington Park, UK from June 8-10. This year’s lineup includes some of the biggest names in metal, such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Slipknot. Tickets are on sale now, so be sure to grab yours before they sell out!

If you’re in the mood for something a little more extreme, then you might want to check out Hellfest, which takes place in Clisson, France from June 22-24. This festival is known for being one of the heaviest around, so if you’re a fan of death metal or black metal, this is definitely the event for you! Some of the bands playing this year include Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and Slayer.

Finally, if you’re looking for something a little closer to home, there’s always Ozzfest! This year’s edition will take place at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin on August 11.
