House MD is one of the best medical dramas on television. Each episode features some of the best and worst music. Here are some of our favorites.

Best Music

There are many great songs featured on House MD, but some are definitely better than others. Here is a list of the best music from House MD episodes:

1. “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley ( season 2, episode 13)
2. “At Last” by Etta James ( season 2, episode 22)
3. “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by The Rolling Stones ( season 3, episode 24)
4. “Find the Cost of Freedom” by Crosby, Stills & Nash ( season 5, episode 7)
5. “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith ( season 5, episode 24)
6. “Better Man” by Pearl Jam ( season 6, episode 3)

Worst Music

In no particular order, here are some examples of episodes with particularly bad music:

calculon by math the band (season 5, episode 11)
This episode features a band made up of mathematicians, which is admittedly pretty clever. Unfortunately, the music they play is painfully bad. It’s hard to listen to more than a few seconds of it without cringing.

the show must go on by house (season 6, episode 22)
This is an episode with a lot of good music, but the scene where House performs “The Show Must Go On” by Queen is absolutely terrible. His voice is off-key and he doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with the backing track. It’s cringeworthy to watch and listen to.

running with scissors by house (season 7, episode 3)
Another episode with good music overall, but the scene where House performs “Running With Scissors” by They Might Be Giants is just awful. The vocals are flat and there’s no energy or enthusiasm behind them. It’s hard to believe that this was actually aired on television.
