My house, my rules. That’s what I always say. And when it comes to music, I’m the king of the castle. So when my buddy Sammy asked if he could take over the music for a party we were throwing, I had to lay down the law.
No way was I going to let him play that crappy pop music he’s always blaring. I told him he could pick the music for the party, but only if it met my strict guidelines.
Introduction
My name is Sammy Driver, and I am the music selector for House Rules. Every week, I choose the songs that the contestants will dance to.
It’s a big responsibility, and I take it very seriously. I spend hours listening to new music, trying to find the perfect songs for each dance.

Sammy’s House Rules
Sammy, the family’s golden retriever, loves music. He listens to all genres, but particularly enjoys jazz. Sammy’s family has a rule that whenever Sammy is in the car, he gets to choose the music.
No rap music
Hello, welcome to Sammy’s House!
There are a few rules we like to live by around here to make things go smoothly. First and foremost among these is that no rap music is allowed. It’s just not my thing and I would appreciate it if you could refrain from playing it while you’re in my home. Thanks!
No songs with profanity
No songs with profanity are allowed to be played in Sammy’s house.
Must be able to dance to it
If you want to hear a song on Sammy’s show, you better be able to dance to it. No slow songs, no “sad boi hours” – this is a party, and we’re here to dance.
Sammy’s Music Selections
Sammy is our go-to driver when we need to get anywhere in a hurry. He’s also our in-house DJ. Sammy always has the perfect song for the mood, and he’s never afraid to bust out a dance move or two while he’s driving. We asked Sammy to share some of his favorite songs with us, and he did not disappoint.
Sammy’s favorite artist
Sammy is a big fan of country music, and his favorite artist is Garth Brooks. He loves all of Garth’s music, and he especially enjoys listening to “Friends in Low Places” and “The Dance.”
Songs that make you want to dance
We all have those songs that no matter where we are or what we’re doing, they just make us want to get up and dance. For me, those songs bring back memories of some of the best times in my life. Whether I’m at a party, a wedding, or just hanging out with friends, these are the songs that always get me moving.
