You’re a big fan of techno music, and you want your music bot to share your taste. Here’s how to tell your bot to play only techno songs.

Introduction

In this article, we’ll show you how to tell your music bot to play only techno songs. This can be useful if you’re having a party and want to make sure that the music played is exclusively techno, or if you just want to limit the range of songs your music bot can play.

We’ll assume that you’re using the popular Discord music bot called Rhythm Bot. If you’re not, the process should be similar for other music bots.

First, open up the Rhythm Bot application and click on the “Preferences” tab. From there, select the “Advanced” options menu.Scroll down until you see the “Only Play Songs From Specific Genres” setting and check the box next to it. A new text box will appear below it; in this text box, type in “techno” (without quotation marks).

Now, whenever you ask your Rhythm Bot to play a song, it will only play songs that are classified as techno songs. This is a great way to make sure that your party always has the right kind of atmosphere!

What You’ll Need

– Spotify account
– Telegram bot

First, you’ll need to create a Spotify account if you don’t already have one. Then, create a Telegram bot. You can do this by opening the Telegram app and searching for @BotFather. Once you’ve found the BotFather, send him a message and follow his instructions to create a new bot.

Once you’ve created your bot, head over to the Spotify Developer Console and create a new Spotify Application. Give your application a name, description, and redirect URI (this can be anything, but for the purposes of this tutorial we’ll use https://example.com/callback).

Once you’ve created your Spotify Application, go to its settings and copy the Client ID and Client Secret into your Telegram bot’s code. The final step is to tell your bot what kind of music to play. You can do this by sending it the following message:
/setgenre Techno

Configuring Your Bot

In order to configure your bot to play only techno songs, you will need to firstly create a playlist on your preferred music streaming service that contains only techno songs. You can then link this playlist to your bot so that it knows which songs to play.

If you are using Spotify, you can create a playlist by going to the ‘Your Library’ tab and selecting ‘Create Playlist’. Once you have created your playlist, you can then go to the ‘Settings’ tab in your bot’s control panel and select ‘Music Settings’. Here, you will need to enter the URL of your Spotify playlist so that your bot can access it.

If you are using Apple Music, you can create a playlist by going to the ‘For You’ tab and selecting ‘Create New Playlist’. Once you have created your playlist, you will need to export it as an .xml file and then upload this file to your bot’s control panel so that it can access the songs.

Once you have configured your bot with the URL of your Spotify playlist or the .xml file of your Apple Music playlist, it will be able to play only techno songs when requested!

Conclusion

If you want your music bot to play only techno songs, you’ll need to add a “techno” playlist to your bot’s library. To do this, open the Music Bot application and click on the “Library” tab. Then, click on the “Add Playlist” button and select “Techno” from the list of genres. Finally, click on the “Add” button and your music bot will now be able to play only techno songs!
