History
The International House of Music Inc. (IHOMI) was founded in 1977 by Frank Sinatra and Quincy Jones. The organization was created to promote and preserve the art of music, with a focus on jazz and popular music. IHOMI is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and provides educational programs, concerts, and scholarships to young musicians in the Los Angeles area.
IHOMI has been located in various locations throughout Los Angeles, but is currently headquartered in the historic million-dollar home of Hollywood producer Joseph M. Schenck. The House of Music is open to the public for tours and events, and offers an online store where visitors can purchase music and merchandise.
Services
International House of Music Inc. offers a variety of services, including music lessons, rehearsals, and performances. We also have a wide selection of instruments and sheet music for purchase.
Our music lessons are available for all levels, from beginners to advanced. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons. Rehearsals can be scheduled in our spacious rehearsal rooms, and we have a state-of-the-art performance hall for concerts and recitals.
