In no particular order, here are the best new Reggae artists of 2014.

1. Protoje: he is a combination of traditional Reggae, Dancehall and Hip-Hop. His debut album “Seven Year Itch” was very well received by fans and critics alike.

2. Morgan Heritage: this reggae band consists of 5 members of the same family and their music is a mix of Reggae, Hip-Hop, R&B and even Pop. They have released several albums and have been touring extensively in support of their latest release, “Here Come the Kings”.

3. Chronixx: his music is a mix of Roots Reggae, Dancehall and Dub. He has released several mixtapes and his debut album “Dread & Terrible” was very well received by fans and critics.

4. Tarrus Riley: he is a singer, songwriter and producer who creates music that is a mix of Reggae, R&B, Soul and Hip-Hop. His fourth studio album “Love Situation” was released to critical acclaim in 2014.

5. Busy Signal: he is a Dancehall artist who has been active since the early 2000s. He has released several albums and mixtapes over the years and his most recent release “Reggae Music Again” was very well received by fans and critics alike.

GOPEE: Gopee is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Kingston, Jamaica. His music is a mix of reggae, dancehall, and R&B. He released his debut album, Heartbeat, in 2014.

JAH9: Jah9 is a singer and songwriter from Montego Bay, Jamaica. Her music blends reggae, jazz, and dub. She released her debut album, New Name Narration, in 2013.

AGENT SASCO: Agent Sasco is a rapper and DJ from Kingston, Jamaica. His music is a mix of hip hop and reggae. He released his debut album, The Theory of Reggaetivity, in 2014.
