Topping our list is Grammy-nominated artist Kamasi Washington. Washington is a highly sought-after saxophonist, bandleader, and composer who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, and Snoop Dogg. His debut album, The Epic, was released in 2015 to critical acclaim, and he has been touring relentlessly ever since. Washington is a graduate of the prestigious El Camino College Music Program in Southern California, which has produced such other notable alumni as Joey Alexander and Wayne Shorter.
