John Lennon was an English musician who gained worldwide fame as a member of the Beatles, for his subsequent solo career, and for his political activism and pacifism.

Early Life

John was born in the United States on December 9, 1963. He was the fourth child of parents who were both music teachers. Growing up, John had a passion for music and sang in his school choir. When he was sixteen, he wrote his first song called “A New Day.” From then on, he knew that music was his calling.

Birth and childhood

John had a difficult birth, which resulted in oxygen deprivation and consequent brain damage. He spent the first few years of his life in and out of hospitals. When he was finally released from medical care, he was diagnosed with developmental disabilities and cerebral palsy. He began attending a special needs school, but there were no resources available to help him with his motor skills or speech impediment. His parents did the best they could to help him, but they ultimately decided to place him in a long-term care facility when he was ten years old.

Family

John was born into a musical family. His father, M.J. Jackson, was a steelworker who later became a professor at Georgia State University; his mother, Bessie Mae Jackson, was a beautician and singer with the Pocketbooks. The Jacksons had nine children: Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, LaToya, Marlon , Randy and Janet. Youngest brother Michael would go on to achieve global pop superstardom starting in the late 1970s as a member of the group the Jackson 5.

Education

John Lennon was born on October 9th, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He was educated at Quarry Bank High School, where he met Paul McCartney. John Lennon was a co-founder of the Beatles, one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of pop music.

High school

John Lennon attended Quarry Bank High School from September 1952 until July 1957. At Quarry Bank, Lennon was an average student who excelled in art and always had his nose in a book. He was a member of the school choir and sometimes played truant to go into Liverpool and skive off school to play music. He also started a band at Quarry Bank called The FourJS.

College

John Lennon was born in Liverpool, England on October 9th, 1940. He was the first Beatle to attend college, although he did not stay for long. In September 1957, he enrolled at the Liverpool College of Art where he met his future wife Cynthia Powell. He left college after two years to concentrate on his music career.

Music Career

John William Peter Newell, better known by his stage name John of Pop, is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is best known as a member of the boy band Take That. He has also had a solo career, and has released five studio albums.

Early bands

John’s first band was called The Quarrymen. They played skiffle music. Skiffle is a type of folk music with simple jazz-like instrumentation. The Quarrymen were not very successful. In fact, they only ever played two gigs!

First album

John’s first album was “The title of the album” it was released in 1970. The album was not a success.

Later albums

John’s later albums include “Empress of the Blues” (1920), “The Million DollarSession” (1923), and “Avalon” (1931). “Empress of the Blues” includes some of her most popular songs, such as “St. Louis Blues”, “Dallas Blues”, and “Kansas City Blues”. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999.

“The Million Dollar Session” is notable for being the first album to feature blues legend Bessie Smith. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2006.

“Avalon” is a jazz album that features some of John’s most well-known songs, such as “Stormy Weather”, “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love”, and “Body and Soul”.

Personal Life

John was born in London and raised in Los Angeles. His father, James R. Dolan, is the executive chairman of The Madison Square Garden Company and Cablevision. His mother,Kristin, is a writer and producer. He has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters.

Relationships

John is currently in a relationship with Jane. They have been together for 5 years and have a daughter together, Lily. John also has 2 sons from his previous marriage, which ended in divorce.

John has four children, two with his first wife and two with his second. He has a daughter named Lisa Marie, who was born on February 1, 1968, and a son named Navarone, who was born on October 26, 1997. Cause of death

On December 25, 2009, at the age of 50, Michael Joseph Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication after suffering from cardiac arrest. The cause of his death was ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Jackson’s personal physician, Conrad Murray, said he had found Jackson in his bedroom, not breathing and with a barely detectable pulse, and that he administered CPR on Jackson to no avail. After repeated Administration of fluid and oxygen to no avail, Murray stated he placed Jackson on a ventilator and tried to resuscitate him for over an hour.
