The LA Soul Music Festival 2016 was better than ever this year! With so many amazing artists performing, it was hard to choose who was the best. However, we’ve compiled a list of our top three favorite performances from the festival.

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is a Compton, California-born rapper and songwriter who has become one of the most successful and acclaimed musicians of his generation. His 2015 album To Pimp a Butterfly won five Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album, and is widely considered one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. In 2016, Lamar released his fourth studio album, DAMN., which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and won him another Grammy for Best Rap Album.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is one of the most iconic figures in rap music, and he always puts on a great show. He was one of the headliners at this year’s LA Soul Music Festival, and he did not disappoint. He performed some of his classic hits, as well as some new tracks, and had the crowd going wild the whole time.
