Reggae Festivals in 2017

Reggae festivals have become more popular in recent years, as the music has undergone a resurgence. Here are some of the most popular reggae festivals that are happening in 2017:

-The Rebel Salute is one of the biggest reggae festivals in Jamaica. It takes place every January in St. Ann’s Bay and features some of the biggest names in reggae music.
-Reggae on the River is another big Jamaican festival, taking place every August in Portland. This year’s lineup includes Ziggy Marley, Morgan Heritage, and Capleton.
-The 39th annual Bob Marley Birthday Bash will take place on February 6th in Miami, Florida. The event is free and open to the public, with performances by Tarrus Riley, Shaggy, and Marley’s sons Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Stephen “Ragga” Marley.
