The Latin American Music Awards is an annual American music awards show that features performances and awards ceremony honoring Latin American recording artists in the United States.
The Latin American Music Awards (LAMAS) will be held on October 2, 2022, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The show will be broadcast live on Univision.
This will be the first time the Latin American Music Awards will be held in Miami. The event was previously held in Los Angeles from 2015 to 2019, and in Puerto Rico in 2020.
This year’s show will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna, Karol G, Manny Juan, Rauw Alejandro, and more.

The show began with a performance by Karol G and Anuel AA. The duo began their performance on top of a moving car that eventually made its way to the stage. They performed their hits “Tus Besos” and ” Location.”
After their performance, Lil Nas X took the stage to perform his hit single, “Old Town Road.” He was joined on stage by Billy Ray Cyrus, who sang his verse from the remix of the song. Nas X donned a cowboy hat and embellished his all-black outfit with fringe.
The next performance was a medley by Bad Bunny. He performed some of his biggest hits, including “Dime Si Te Acuerdas,” “Mia,” “Callaita,” “Solo de Mi” and more. He ended his set by sitting on top of a replica of the moon.
Becky G took the stage next to perform her new single, “Mayores.” She was joined on stage by her mother for the empowerment anthem.
