Here are five great Latin music DVDs that you must have in your collection. These DVDs feature some of the best Latin artists performing their greatest hits.

Aventura

Aventura is a bachata group from The Bronx, New York. The group is composed of Romeo Santos, Lenny Santos, Henry Santos, and Max Santos. Aventura rose to fame in the early 2000s with their albums We Broke the Rules and Love & Hate. Their popularity declined in the 2010s, but they still remain one of the most popular Latin groups of all time. Here are some of their best music DVDs.

“Love and Hate”

Love and Hate is the third studio album by American Latin rock band Aventura, released on June 10, 2003, by Premium Latin Music. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latino Rock, Alternative or Urban Album.

Aventura released their second album, We Broke the Rules, in 2002. It was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and becoming the first album by a bachata group to do so. The album’s success led to the band’s first tour of Latin America.

In 2003, the band released their third studio album, Love and Hate. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latino Rock, Alternative or Urban Album.

The album’s lead single, “Obsesión”, became a massive hit in Europe, reaching number one in Italy and Spain. The song has been covered by many artists includingSpanish singer Raphael, who recorded a version with Aventura member Henry Santos.”

“The Last”

“The Last” is a powerful and emotional ballad by Aventura that has resonated with Latin music fans for years. The song is about a man who is struggling to come to terms with the end of a relationship. The lyrics are full of heartbreak and regret, and the chorus is particularly powerful:

“Y si tú te vas, yo me muero
Si tú te alejas, yo me pierdo
Porque eres el amor de mi vida
Mi todo, mi cielo, mi sol
Tú eres el último en mi lista
De razones para vivir.”

Shakira

Shakira is a Columbian singer, songwriter, dancer, businesswoman, and philanthropist. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Shakira began performing in school, demonstrating Latin American, Arabic, and rock and roll influences and belly dancing abilities.

“She Wolf”

Shakira released “She Wolf” on October 13, 2009 as the lead single from her eponymous album. The song peaked at number one in France and Spain, became a top-ten single in several countries including Australia, Belgium, Italy and the United Kingdom, and charted within the top forty of several others. A critical and commercial success, “She Wolf” was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of two million copies. The song’s accompanying music video was directed by Jaume de la Iguana and presents Shakira performing a sensual dance in various locations.

“Can’t Remember to Forget You”

Shakira’s new self-titled album features the single “Can’t Remember to Forget You” with Rihanna, which Shakira began promoting in late January. The song debuted at number 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making it Shakira’s highest-charting single in the country since her 2010 collaboration with rapper Pitbull, “Give Me Everything”, which peaked at number three. The song also became Rihanna’s record-extending 24th top 40 hit on the Hot 100.

“Can’t Remember to Forget You” is a reggae-influenced track recorded in Los Angeles and written by Shakira, RiRi, John Hill and Tom McKee. The lyrics are about forgetting someone you once loved but still having feelings for them. It received mixed reviews from critics; some praised its hypnotic groove and called it one of the catchiest songs of 2014, while others criticized it for being too similar to other recent Shakira releases. The music video was released on 31 January 2014 and was directed by Joseph Kahn. It generated controversy due to its sexually suggestive scenes involving Shakira and Rihanna.

Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin’s eponymous debut album Ricky Martin was released in November 1991 by Sony Discos. The album contained his breakthrough hit “Living la Vida Loca”, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The album’s second single, “María”, peaked at number five on the Hot 100 and became Martin’s first number-one single on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

“Livin’ la Vida Loca”

Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ la Vida Loca” was one of the biggest hits of 1999, and it helped push Latin music into the mainstream. The accompanying music video was an MTV favorite, and it won several awards, including Best Male Video at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. The DVD includes the original music video, as well as four live performances of the song.

“She Bangs”

“She Bangs” is a song recorded by Ricky Martin. It was released on August 8, 2000 as the third single from his self-titled album. Gloria Estefan

Gloria Estefan is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. She started her career as the lead singer in the group Miami Sound Machine and released her first solo album in 1977. Her popularity increased with the release of her second album, and she has since gone on to sell over 100 million records worldwide. “The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You”

Gloria Estefan is a multiple Grammy Award-winning Cuban-American singer, songwriter, actress and entrepreneur. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, and has achieved particular success with Latin music.

Her first album, “The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You”, was released in 1987 and was an instant success. It featured the title track, which became a huge hit single, as well as the hits “Conga” and “1-2-3”. The album won Estefan a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Performance.

Since then, she has released a string of successful albums, including “Gloria!”, “Mi Tierra”, “Abriendo Puertas” and “Unwrapped”. She has also appeared in a number of films and television shows, most notably as Maria Perez in the comedy series “Hot Houses” (1985-1986).

In addition to her musical achievements, Estefan is also an accomplished businesswoman. She has her own line of products, including fragrances, clothing and home decor items. She also owns several restaurants, including the popular Lario’s on the Beach in Miami Beach, Florida.

“Conga”

“Conga” is a song recorded by Cuban-American singer Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine for their ninth studio album, Primitive Love. It was released as a single on January 21, 1986 and became their first number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 1986 ceremony.

The music video for “Conga” was directed by Dave Meyers. It features Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine performing in a club. The video won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video at the 1986 ceremony.

Marc Anthony

Most anyone would be familiar with the name Marc Anthony. He is a Prolific Latin Singer, actor and television producer. Marc Anthony has been a large part of the Latin music industry for over two decades and has helped bring the genre into the mainstream.
