The album’s success was driven by the singles “Chop Suey!”, “Aerials”, and “Toxicity”, which all charted in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

Released on April 30, 2003, Faceless is the third studio album by the American rock band Godsmack. The album was the band’s first release under Universal Records, after being dropped from their previous label, Republic/Universal. It was also the first album with new drummer Shannon Larkin. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Jerry Finn.
Faceless debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling approximately 260,000 copies in its first week. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 25, 2003. It spawned four singles: ” Faceless”, “Straight Out of Line”, “I Stand Alone”, and “Running Blind”. Godsmack toured extensively in support of the album, playing over 300 shows in support of its release.

L.D. 50 (stylized as L.Δ.50) is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Mudvayne. It was released on August 28, 2000, through Epic Records. The album’s artwork was created by Paul Romano. The title L.D. 50 refers to the Median Lethal Dose test used on animals to determine toxicity levels; in this case, it is a metaphor for the attraction that humans have to self-destructive behavior, even when they know it will be lethal.
Critical reception for L.D 50 has been positive and the album is widely considered to be a landmark release in the nu metal and alternative metal genres. Sub Pop released an extended play(EP) taster,Hormoaning, in February 1992. In order to meet increased demand, the label commissioned more copies than it had ever done before and struggled to cope with the unexpectedly high level of interest in the band.Nirvana was catapulted into the mainstream, and Nevermind knocked Michael Jackson’s album Dangerous off the top of the Billboard 200 chart in January 1992. Pearl Jam- Ten
Ten is the debut studio album by Pearl Jam, released on August 27, 1991 through Epic Records. The band’s first release features a raw sound reminiscent of many of their grunge peers; however, Pearl Jam’s arrangements also display a more expansive approach to song construction and instrumentation. Upon its release, Ten was ranked number two by Billboard 200 and has since been certified diamond by the RIAA in the United States, with sales of over 12 million copies. It is Pearl Jam’s most commercially successful album and one of the best-selling albums in history.
In 2003, Pearl Jam was ranked number 476 in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”, and Ten was ranked number 207 on the magazine’s 2012 list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The band had been collaborating with producer Brendan O’Brien on the album throughout much of 1992, and the recording process was plagued with tension due to drug addiction problems within the band. Nevertheless, the album was a commercial success, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over eight million copies in the United States. Core has since been certified 8x platinum by the RIAA.
The album’s first single, “Sex Type Thing”, was a moderate success, peaking at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single, “Plush”, was much more successful, topping the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and peaking at #25 on the Hot 100. “Wicked Garden” and “Creep” were also released as singles; while neither charted on the Hot 100, both topped the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. In 1993, Stone Temple Pilots won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for ” plum”.
