Francis Magalona

Francis Magalona, also known as Kiko or Master Rapper, was a Filipino rapper, entrepreneur, actor and television personality. He is credited as being one of the first pinoy rap artists in the Philippines as well as helping to pioneer the Philippine hip-hop music scene. He released his first album in 1988 and his last album posthumously in 2009. He passed away in 2009 due to complications from leukemia.

Gloc-9

Gloc-9 is a Filipino rapper and songwriter. His rapping style is considered original, unique, and full of wordplay. He has released nine albums, with two of them receiving platinum certification. Gloc-9’s music often tackles social and political commentary, as well as poverty and class struggles in the Philippines.
