Bachata

Bachata is a genre of Latin music that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is a popular choice for dancing and listening, and is often romantic and sensual. The music is usually played with guitars, bongos, and maracas, and often has a strong rhythm that can be easy to dance to.

Aventura

Aventura is a Bachata group from The Bronx, New York. The members of the group are Lenny Santos, Henry Santos Jeter, Max Agende Santos and Romeo Santos. They have been performing together since 1992.

Aventura is one of the most popular Bachata groups in the world. Their music has a unique sound that combines traditional Bachata with elements of hip hop, R&B and pop. They are known for their high-energy live performances and their catchy songs about love and heartbreak.

Aventura has released six studio albums: “We Broke The Rules” (2002), “Love & Hate” (2005), “God’s Project” (2007), “The Last” (2009), “Mi Santa” (2011) and “Untitled” (2014). They have also released two live albums: “Live In Madison Square Garden” (2010) and “Sold Out At Madison Square Garden” (2012).

Aventura has won numerous awards including five Latin Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and eight ASCAP Awards. They have sold over 15 million albums worldwide and their song “Obsesión” is one of the best-selling Latin songs of all time.

Romeo Santos

Romeo Santos is a singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the Bachata group Aventura. His solo career includes the albums Formula, Volume 1 and Volume 2, both of which topped the Billboard Latin Albums chart in the United States. He has also worked with a number of other artists, including Usher, Monica, Marc Anthony and Lil Wayne.

Prince Royce

If you love Bachata, then you’ve definitely heard of Prince Royce. He’s a Dominican singer, songwriter and record producer who has taken the Latin music world by storm. His self-titled debut album was released in 2010 and peaked at number two on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. It included the hit singles “Stand by Me” and “Corazon Sin Cara”. Prince Royce has since released three more albums, all of which have been hugely successful. He’s won multiple awards, including five Latin Grammy Awards and five Premios Juventud Awards. Salsa

Salsa is a genre of Latin American music that originated in the Cuban cities of Havana and Matanzas. It is a popular dance music that is enjoyed by people of all ages. Salsa is a fusion of African and European music influences. The name salsa comes from the Spanish word for sauce, which is used to describe the spicy flavor of the music.

Marc Anthony

Marc Anthony is one of the most popular salsa singers of all time. He was born in New York to Puerto Rican parents and started his career as a singer in Spanish-language TV programmes. He rose to prominence in the 1990s with his debut album ‘Otra Nota’, which won him a Grammy award. He has since gone on to sell over 12 million albums and has won numerous other awards.

Marc Anthony is known for his romantic ballads as well as his upbeat salsa tracks, and he has collaborated with many other Latin artists such as Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin. His music appeals to both Latino and non-Latino audiences alike, and he has even appeared in Hollywood films such as ‘Man on Fire’ and ‘Hector Lavoe’.

Gloria Estefan

Gloria Estefan (born Gloria María Milagrosa Fajardo; September 1, 1957) is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman. She started off her career as the lead singer in the group Mi Tierra, and eventually became a global pop sensation with hits like “Conga” and “Get on Your Feet”. To date, she has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling Latin artists of all time. In 1988, she starred in and produced her first feature film, Music of My Heart.

Celia Cruz

One of the most popular salsa artists of all time, Celia Cruz was a Cuban singer who later became a naturalized American citizen. She began her career in the 1950s, singing with a Cuban orchestra called Sonora Matancera. Throughout her career, she recorded more than 70 albums and won numerous Grammy Awards. She is often referred to as the “Queen of Salsa” and remains one of the most influential Latin musicians of all time.

Merengue

Merengue is a type of Latin music that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is a fast-paced, upbeat music that is often played at Latin dances and parties. Merengue is typically danced by couples, and the dance is characterized by its quick footsteps and hip movements. Elvis Crespo

Elvis Crespo was born in New York but raised in the Dominican Republic. His trademark is a combination of traditional Dominican merengue with urban hip-hop and pop. Juan Luis Guerra

Juan Luis Guerra is a Dominican singer, songwriter, composer, and producer who has won multiple Grammy Awards and Latin Grammy Awards. He is one of the most internationally recognized Latin artists of recent decades. His music is a fusion of merengue, bachata, and Afro-Caribbean styles.

Guerra’s first album, “Soplando,” was released in 1984 and brought him to the attention of the international music scene. His 1990 album “Ojala Que Llueva Cafe” was a huge success, cementing his reputation as a top Latin artist. In the years since, Guerra has continued to release hit albums and tour the world. He is beloved by fans for his catchy melodies, wonderful lyrics, and upbeat attitude.

Eddy Herrera

Known as “El Rey de la Bachata” (The King of Bachata), Eddy Herrera is a Dominican singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Santo Domingo in 1966, Herrera began his career as a member of the Bachata group Cuatro Cuarenta. He released his first solo album in 1994 and has since recorded 14 albums, including a live album and a greatest hits collection. His latest album, En Vivo desde el Teatro La Fiesta (Live from the Fiesta Theater), was released in 2017.
