The top male country music artists of 2020 are Chris Stapleton, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Jason Aldean. These are the guys that are currently leading the pack and setting the trends in country music.

Luke Bryan

American country music singer and songwriter Luke Bryan has released seven studio albums, six compilation albums, and 27 singles. His first album was the self-titled Luke Bryan, which he released in 2007. Bryan’s second album, Doin’ My Thing, was released on October 6, 2009. On November 24, 2009, it was announced that Bryan had signed with Capitol Nashville. His third album, Tailgates & Tanlines, was released on August 9, 2011. Bryans fourth album Crash My Party was released on August 13, 2013 and includes the singles “Crash My Party”, “That’s My Kind of Night”, “Roller Coaster”, “Drink a Beer”, and “Play It Again”. Just over a year later he released his fifth studio album Kill the Lights on August 7, 2015 including the singles “Kick the Dust Up”, “Strip It Down” and “Home Alone Tonight”. Bryan is currently working on his seventh studio album which he has not yet announced a release date for.

Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt is a country music singer and songwriter from Cedartown, Georgia. He is signed to MCA Nashville and has released four studio albums, including Montevallo in 2014 and Southside in 2020. Hunt has also released 12 singles, of which six have reached Number One on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean is a country music singer and songwriter. He has released nine studio albums, 39 singles, and has sold over 13 million records worldwide. Aldean was born in Macon, Georgia, in 1977. He began his musical career in high school, playing in a band called “Young Bloods”. In 2005, he released his debut album, “Jason Aldean”. His fourth album, “My Kinda Party”, was released in 2010 and became his best-selling album to date. It included the singles “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Take a Little Ride”. In 2013, he released the album “Night Train”, which included the hit single “Burnin’ It Down”. In 2015, he released the album “Old Boots, New Dirt”, which includes the singles “Just Gettin’ Started” and “Tonight Looks Good on You”.

Chris Stapleton

Chris Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Staffordsville, Kentucky, where he began writing songs at the age of 15. Stapleton’s first professional gig was singing lead vocals for bluegrass band The SteelDrivers from 2008 to 2010. In 2013, he released his debut solo album Traveller, which won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His second album From A Room: Volume 1 was released in 2017 and won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album. His third album From A Room: Volume 2 was released in 2018.

Keith Urban

Keith Lionel Urban is a New Zealand-born Australian country music singer, songwriter and record producer. In 1991, he released a self-titled debut album and charted four singles in Australia before moving to the United States the following year. He found work as a session guitarist before starting a band known as The Ranch, which recorded one studio album on Capitol Nashville and charted two singles on the Billboard country charts. Still signed to Capitol, Urban made his solo American debut in 1999 with a second eponymous album. Certified platinum in the US, it produced his first number one on Hot Country Songs with “But for the Grace of God”. Somebody Like You, the first single from his second Capitol album Golden Road (2002), was named by Billboard as the biggest country hit of the 2000s decade. The album’s fourth single, “You’ll Think of Me”, earned him his first Grammy Award.”
