The Moody Blues are a rock band formed in Birmingham, England in 1964. The group’s lineup has changed several times over the years, with the most notable change being the departure of keyboardist Mike Pinder in 1978. The band has released nineteen studio albums, fourteen live albums, and sixty-three singles. They have been awarded eighteen gold and platinum records. The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.

The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964, initially consisting of Justin Hayward (guitar, vocals), John Lodge (bass guitar, vocals), Graeme Edge (drums, percussion, speaking drums), and Denny Laine (guitar, vocals). They first came to prominence playing rhythm and blues music. However, by 1967 they had developed their sound and increased their popularity.

The band’s third album, Days of Future Passed, was released in 1967 and was a critical and commercial success. It included thehit singles “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon”. The album helped to bring classical music influences into rock with symphonic orchestrated passages on several tracks including the hits “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon”. Since then the band have released thirteen studio albums.

The theatre portion of the venue was converted from a 1/2-mile (800 m) oval horse track to a theatre in 1954. The first concert at the newly converted theatre was on July 2, 1956, with Tony Martin headlining. In 1974, theFairground Associates of New York purchased the venue and renamed it the “Westbury Music Fair”.

The Moody Blues filmed their live album/concert film Live at the Royal Albert Hall at the venue in 1992.

The Moody Blues came on stage at 8:00 pm and the crowd went wild. They started the show with “Nights in White Satin” and the audience was on their feet the whole time. The energy in the room was electric and everyone was having a great time. The concert was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I was able to see them perform live.
