The 2017 Music City Jazz Festival will feature some of the most popular and well-known jazz musicians in the world. This year’s lineup includes Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, and many more. The festival will take place in Nashville, Tennessee from June 9-11.

Friday, April 28

The Music City Jazz Festival will be held in Nashville, TN on Friday, April 28, 2017. The event will feature a number of local and national jazz performers, including:

-The Nashvegas All-Stars
-The Sean Jones Quartet
-Irvin Mayfield & The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra
-Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah
-Special guest: Dr. Lonnie Smith

Saturday, April 29

The Saturday, April 29 lineup for the Music City Jazz Festival features some of the biggest names in contemporary and traditional jazz. The festival will open with a set from smooth jazz saxophonist Boney James, followed by contemporary jazz keyboardist Bob James. Rounding out the day are sets from New Orleans piano legend Allen Toussaint, Gospel Jazz great Kirk Whalum, and renowned trumpeter Chris Botti.

Sunday, April 30

The Music City Jazz Festival takes over Nashville every year on the last Sunday in April, and the 2017 lineup is sure to get you pumped for a day of fun in the sun!

This year’s headliners include world-renowned trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, smooth saxophonist Kenny G, and the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Other top performers include Joey Alexander, Dhafer Youssef, go-go pioneer Chuck Brown, and more.
