Funking It Up Inside an RV: The Making of Our Music Video

The Idea
We had the idea to shoot a music video inside an RV. We wanted to create a fun and funky environment that would be visually stimulating and would also showcase our talents as musicians. We also wanted to film in a place that would be unique and memorable.

We wanted to make a music video that was fun and different, so we decided to film it inside an RV! The whole process was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end.
We started by finding an RV that we could use for the shoot. We contacted a local RV rental company and asked if they had any vehicles that we could use for the day. They were happy to help us out and we were able to get a great deal on a rental.
Once we had the RV, we had to figure out how to set up the camera equipment inside. This part was tricky, but we eventually figured it out. We set up tripods in the corners of the RV and ran extension cords to power the cameras.
Once everything was set up, we filmed the video over the course of two days. We had a blast filming inside the RV and our finished product turned out great!

We thought an RV would be the perfect setting because it would be intimate and we could move around freely. We also liked the idea of being able to film in different locations without having to worry about finding a place to stay.

After a few hours of brainstorming and a lot of Googling “how to make a music video on a shoestring budget,” we had our lightbulb moment: we would film the entire video inside our RV! Not only would this be a fun challenge, but it would also help us keep costs down.
The Preparation
It all started with a passion for music and a shared love of adventure. We both had RVs and loved road tripping, so we decided to combine our two passions and make a music video inside an RV. We started planning and preparing for the shoot, and before we knew it, we were on our way to making our very own music video.

We set up a camera and sound system inside the RV
After we had our storyboard and song ready, it was time to start filming. We knew we wanted to film inside the RV to give it that homemade, intimate feeling. So, we set up a camera on a tripod in the front of the RV and ran an extension cord to an outlet in the back. We also set up a sound system inside so we could play the song while we filmed.

We rehearsed the song and choreography for the video inside our RV on a hot day in August. We set up a camera to film ourselves and practiced until we got the routine down. Once we felt confident with the choreography, we ran through the song a few times to make sure everything sounded good.
The Filming
The making of our music video started with a lot of discussion. We knew that we wanted to film inside an RV to make it look like we were on a road trip, but we had to figure out how to make that work. We ended up finding a local RV dealer who was willing to let us film inside one of their RVs. Once we had the RV, we had to figure out how to set up the camera and lighting to get the shots that we wanted.

We knew that we wanted to start the video with a shot of the RV driving down the road, so we rigged up a camera on the outside of the RV. This allowed us to get some great footage of the RV in action.
Once we got to our destination, we set up our cameras inside the RV and started filming. We had to be careful not to bump into each other or knock over any of our equipment. It was a tight squeeze, but we managed to make it work!
We were really happy with how the video turned out. We think it captures the fun and excitement of making music together in a small space.

The Editing
We had a lot of fun making our music video, “Funking It Up Inside an RV.” We shot the video all in one day, and then we spent a few days editing it. We used a lot of different editing techniques to make the video look professional. We also added some special effects to make the video more fun.

We are really happy with the final product
We are really happy with the final product even though it did not come out exactly as we had planned. The main goal was to create something fun and different that would make people laugh and maybe even dance along. I think we accomplished that!
The Release
Our music video is finally finished and we are so excited to share it with all of you! It was a lot of fun making it and we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.

It seems like only yesterday that we were brainstorming ideas for our music video. We wanted to do something different, something that would really set us apart from other bands out there. And so we came up with the idea of filming the entire video inside an RV.
The whole process was a lot of fun, although it was definitely a bit challenging at times.We had to figure out how to set up all of our equipment inside the RV, and then how to shoot the footage without making too much of a mess. But in the end, it all came together perfectly and we are so proud of the final product.
Since releasing the video on YouTube, it has been really well-received. We’ve gotten so many positive comments and views, and it’s been great to see such a positive response from our fans. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check it out!
