The Making of the Video

In the video, Gill and Keith are shown performing the song in a bar, with a band backing them up. Throughout the video, scenes of various blue-collar workers are shown. These include factory workers, construction workers, farmers, and truck drivers. The video pays tribute to the hard work of these American workers.

The Video Itself

The video for “Workin’ Man Blues” was directed by Sherman Halsey, and it features Gill and Keith singing the song in a barroom setting. In between shots of the two singers, the video features footage of blue-collar workers in various occupations. The video ends with a dedication to “the working man.”

Vince Gill and Toby Keith close out the video by sharing a beer and a laugh, a fitting end to a song that celebrates the everyday working man. The video does a great job of illustrating the struggles and joys that come with working hard for a living, and it’s clear that both Gill and Keith have a deep respect for the men and women who do just that. Whether you’re a fan of country music or not, “Workin’ Man Blues” is a moving tribute to the unsung heroes of the world, and it’s well worth taking the time to watch.
