The year is coming to a close, and that means it’s time to take a look back at the best pop music videos of 2015. From Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” to Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” these are the videos that had us hitting repeat all year long.

In 2015, there were a ton of great pop music videos released. These are some of the best ones that came out this year.

Taylor Swift – “Bad Blood”

“Bad Blood” is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, for her fifth studio album 1989 (2014). It was written by Swift, Max Martin and Shellback, with the production handled by the latter two. The song was released to radio by Republic Records on May 19, 2015, as the album’s fourth single. “Bad Blood” is a synthpop and hip hop track featuring drum machines, synthesisers and heavily processed guitar riff. Its lyrics describe the betrayal of a close friend.

The music video for “Bad Blood” premiered at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17, 2015. It was directed by Joseph Kahn and features an all-female cast. The video made Swift the first woman and fourth overall artist to win Video of the Year at the awards show twice; she previously won with her directorial debut “Mean” in 2011. Additionally, “Bad Blood” is one of only three videos to have won multiple VMA trophies in a single night; it also won Best Collaboration and Best Cinematography. Since its release, it has been watched over 500 million times on YouTube alone; it is currently the thirtieth most-viewed music video online.

The “Uptown Funk” video is a perfect example of a great pop music video. It’s creative, fun, and features an iconic performance by Bruno Mars. The video was directed by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, and it won several awards, including the MTV Video Music Award for Best Male Video and the Grammy Award for Best Pop Video.

Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth – “See You Again”

The talk show host and the Spanish singer/songwriter teamed up for a completely delightful take on the show’s opening theme, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show Theme.” Dressed in all white and looking like they’re having the time of their lives, the two dance around a brightly lit set to an infectiously happy remix of the iconic song.

Conclusion

After much discussion, we have come to the conclusion that the best pop music video of 2015 is Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood.” It was a close call between this video and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are Ü Now,” but in the end, we felt that “Bad Blood” was more creative and better executed.
