My House Music Festival is coming to Chicago in 2022! This festival is a celebration of house music and its many subgenres, from deep house to techno. It will feature performances from some of the world’s top DJs, as well as up-and-coming talent. The festival will also offer educational workshops, panel discussions, and other events that will explore the history and culture of house music. If you’re a fan of house music, or if you’re just curious about this unique genre of electronic dance music, then this festival is definitely for you.

What is House Music?

House music is a style of electronic dance music that originated in Chicago in the early 1980s. It was initially popularized by DJs who played at clubs, parties, and on the radio. House music is characterized by a repetitive 4/4 beat, a wide variety of electronic instrumentation, and often features samples of disco or funk songs. The style was eventually exported to other parts of the world, and it became particularly popular in the UK and Europe in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Chicago was chosen as the location for the 2022 festival because of its rich history with house music.

The festival will take place from July 29th-31st at Union Park, located just west of downtown Chicago.
