The Soul of Sydney

The Soul of Sydney is a collective of musicians who are dedicated to keeping the spirit of classic soul and funk alive. The group was formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Nick Charles and organist/vocalist Matt McMahon, and they’ve been making waves ever since. The Soul of Sydney have released two albums – 2013’s ‘Keepin’ The Faith’ and 2015’s ‘Take Your Time’ – and they show no signs of slowing down. Another great Sydney-based soul/funk band is Electric Empire.
