The Revivalists

The Revivalists are an American rock band formed in 2007 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The band consists of eight members: Ed Williams (guitar), Zack Feinberg (guitar), George Gekas (bass), Rob Ingraham (saxophone), Michael Girardot (trumpet), Andrew Campanelli (drums), David Shaw (lead vocals) and PJ Morton (keyboard, backing vocals). The band has released three studio albums: Take Good Care (2018), City of Sound (2013) and Men Amongst Mountains (2015).

The Revivalists’ sound has been described as a mix of “Southern rock, Louisiana swamp pop, R&B and New Orleans funk”. They have been compared to bands like Alabama Shakes, The Black Crowes and The Neville Brothers.

The Raconteurs

The Raconteurs are an American rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 2005. Consisting of Brendan Benson (lead vocals, guitar), Jack White (vocals, guitar), and Jack Lawrence (bass guitar), the band is also joined live by drummer Patrick Keeler and keyboardist Dean Fertita. The band’s first album, Broken Boy Soldiers, was released in 2006 to commercial and critical success. Its follow-up album, Consolers of the Lonely, was released in 2008 to even greater success.

The Black Keys

The Black Keys are an American rock duo from Akron, Ohio, formed in 2001. The group consists of Dan Auerbach (vocals, guitar) and Patrick Carney (drums). Their raw blues rock sound draws heavily from Auerbach’s garage rock influences, while Carney’s jazz background provides a solid foundation for their rhythm section. The Black Keys have released eight studio albums, the most recent being Turn Blue in 2014.

The Black Keys’ music has been widely praised by critics. In 2010, they won three Grammy Awards for their album Brothers, which also topped Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the best albums of that year. In 2011, their song “Lonely Boy” won two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. In addition to their critical success, the Black Keys have also achieved commercial success with their albums reaching Platinum or Gold status in several countries.

Gary Clark Jr.

Gary Clark Jr. is an American musician from Austin, Texas. He is a guitarist and singer-songwriter who infuses blues, rock, and soul into his music. His sound has been described as a “blend of blues, rock, soul, and R&B.”

Clark’s first full-length album, Gary Clark Jr., was released in October 2012 on Warner Bros. Records. The album includes the singles “Ain’t Messin ‘Round” and “Please Come Home”. His second studio album, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim, was released in September 2015. It topped the Billboard 200 chart and included the singles “The Healing” and “Grinder”.

In 2016, Clark won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for his song “Black Sun”. He has also won two BET Awards, a Blues Music Award, and an Austin City Limits Music Award.

Greta Van Fleet

Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, formed in 2012. The band consists of four brothers: Josh Kiszka (lead vocals, guitar), Jake Kiszka (guitar, backing vocals), Sam Kiszka (bass guitar, keyboards) and Danny Wagner (drums). Their first EP, Black Smoke Rising, was released on April 21, 2017. Their debut studio album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, was released on October 19, 2018.

The band’s music has been categorized as blues rock and hard rock. Greta Van Fleet has been compared to Led Zeppelin and other classic rock bands; Josh Kiszka has been described as a Robert Plant-like frontman. The group has drawn criticism for their similarity to Led Zeppelin.
