Luke Combs – “She Got the Best of Me”

Maren Morris – “GIRL”

On “GIRL,” Morris celebrates feminine strength and resilience, tipping her hat to mentors like Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn who wrote anthems for a different time but still hold up today. The song also pays homage to Morris’ own musical journey so far. “Back when I was 15, I was dyin’ for somebody to hear me,” she sings in the opening verse. “Now all these years later, your little girl’s a star.”

“GIRL” is the lead single from Morris’ forthcoming album of the same name, due out on March 8th. The record is a follow-up to her 2016 major label debut Hero, which featured the Grammy-winning single “My Church.” In 2017, Morris married fellow country singer Ryan Hurd.

Mitchell Tenpenny – ” Drunk Me”

Mitchell Tenpenny’s new single, “Drunk Me,” is proof that he’s one of the most promising young talents in country music today. The song, which was co-written by Tenpenny and Jonathan Singleton, is a heart wrenching ballad about the regrets that come with a breakup. “I wish somebody would’ve told me / That you’d be the death of me / I wish I never met you, baby / I wish I couldn’t feel your touch,” he sings. “I wish you never kissed me / I wish you never loved me enough / To make me feel like this.”

“Drunk Me” is the lead single from Tenpenny’s forthcoming debut album, Telling All My Secrets. The album, which is due out later this year, is sure to solidify Tenpenny as one of country music’s brightest new stars.
