Southern gospel music has been on the rise in recent years, and one of the biggest names in the genre is Kirk Franklin. Franklin is a Grammy-winning artist who has been making music for more than 20 years. His most recent album, Losing My Religion, was released in 2015 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard gospel charts. Franklin is known for his soulful voice and his ability to infuse gospel music with elements of R&B and hip-hop. Tasha Cobbs
