2015 has been a great year for Hip Hop music so far. With new albums from Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, and J. Cole, there is a lot to choose from. If you are looking for some new music to listen to, Hip Hop is a great genre to check out. In this article, we will be taking a look at some of the best Hip Hop albums that have been released so far in 2015.

Kendrick Lamar- “To Pimp a Butterfly”

Kendrick Lamar’s long-awaited second album is finally here, and it was worth the wait. “To Pimp a Butterfly” is a brilliant, complex record that demands multiple listens to fully appreciate. It’s also one of the most important hip-hop albums in recent memory, tackling tough subjects like race and police brutality with honesty and intelligence. In short, it’s a masterful piece of work from one of the best rappers in the game.

J. Cole- “2014 Forest Hills Drive”

American hip hop recording artist and record producer J. Cole has released three studio albums, one extended play (EP), three mixtapes, three singles and one promotional single.

Chance the Rapper- “Surf”

Chance the Rapper’s contribution to the Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment album, Surf, is one of the strongest tracks on the record. The production is handled by Donnie Trumpet, Peter CottonTale, and Chance himself. “Surf” is a hazy, horn-based track that finds Chance in top form. His delivery is effortless and his lyrics are smart and introspective. The song also features an appearance by Quavo of Migos, who delivers a few lines towards the end. “Surf” is one of the best tracks of 2015 and it’s a great example of Chance’s immense talent.

It’s no secret that Hip Hop and Country are two of the most popular genres of music. And with the release of some great new albums, it’s time to take a look at the best of what’s been released so far in 2015. Here are our picks for the best Hip Hop and Country albums of the year so far.

Chris Stapleton- “Traveller”

Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller” is the runaway success story of 2015 in country music. The album, which was released in May, has topped the Billboard Country Albums chart for 17 consecutive weeks, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. The record has also been a critical favorite, with many critics calling it one of the best albums of the year.

Stapleton is a former member of the bluegrass group The SteelDrivers, and he co-wrote several hits for other country artists before striking out on his own. “Traveller” is his debut solo album, and it features a mix of country, rock, and folk influences. The album’s lead single, “Nobody to Blame,” was a Top 10 hit on the Country Airplay chart, and the follow-up single, “Was It 26,” is quickly closing in on that same mark.

Carrie Underwood- “Storyteller”

Carrie Underwood’s “Storyteller” is one of the most hyped country albums of 2015. The record features 14 songs, all co-written by the singer, that tell stories of love, heartbreak and redemption. The first single, “Smoke Break,” is an ode to hardworking blue collar Americans, while the second single, “Heartbeat,” is a catchy uptempo love song. Other standout tracks include the heart-wrenching ballad “Choctaw County Affair” and the nostalgic “Relic.”

Sam Hunt- “Montevallo”

Released in October of 2014, Montevallo is the debut studio album by American country music singer Sam Hunt. The album’s title refers to the hometown of Hunt’s college sweetheart, whom he later married. The album includes the singles “Leave the Night On”, “Take Your Time”, and “House Party”. Upon its release, Montevallo received positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success, debuting at number one on the US Billboard Country Albums chart and selling over one million copies in the US.

It’s that time of year again! New music is being released and we can’t wait to hear what our favorite artists have in store for us. 2015 is shaping up to be a great year for music, especially in the rock genre. We’ve already seen some great new releases in the past few months and there’s sure to be more to come. So, without further ado, here are some of the most anticipated new rock albums of 2015.

Muse- “Drones”

On June 8th, 2015, the album “Drones” was released by the band Muse. The album was very well-received by fans and critics, alike. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, making it Muse’s sixth consecutive album to do so. “Drones” is a Concept album dealing with the topics of deceptio,m paranoia, and surveillance.

Foo Fighters- “Sonic Highways”

Foo Fighters’ eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, was released on November 10, 2014. The album is the band’s first studio album since 2011’s Wasting Light. Sonic Highways is also the band’s first album to be produced by Butch Vig.

Royal Blood- “Royal Blood”

Royal Blood is the self-titled debut album by British rock duo Royal Blood. The album was released on 22 August 2014 through Black Mammoth Records in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US. It topped the UK Albums Chart on 30 August 2014.
