Cole drops his much-anticipated album 4 Your Eyez Only, which features the single “Deja Vu.” Kendrick Lamar also releases a new album this week, titled DAMN., which includes the singles “DNA” and “Humble.” Lil Wayne drops his long-awaited album Tha Carter V, which includes the singles “Lollipop” and “A Milli.”

Upcoming Artists

This week’s new hip hop music offers up some impressive up-and-comers, including Bronx-based rapper Maiy Shelby. Shelby’s track “No Hook” is a cleverly written ode to the perfect one night stand, and was produced by fellow rising star Kid Sultan. Also hailing from the Bronx is JSWISS, who laces his old-school flow with complex rhymes on the new track “Eye 2 Eye.” On the West Coast, Compton rapper Boogie drops his debut album The Reach, which features the single “Oh My.”
