Upcoming Events

The Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas, has announced its music schedule for the upcoming months. The center will feature a variety of music styles, including bluegrass, gospel, and folk. There will also be a variety of workshops and demonstrations.

June

June 3 – Ozark Quilt Festival
June 10-11 – Arkansas Celtic Music Festival
June 17-18 – Eureka Springs Blues Weekend
June 24-25 – Hillberry Music Festival

July

Ozark Folk Center State Park will present the following music events in July. All events are in the auditorium and start at 7 p.m. Concerts are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors (60 and older) and $8 for children (6-12). Families (up to two adults and three children) can purchase a family pass for $40.

July 5 – The New Buffalo Swing Band will play 1940s big band tunes.

July 12 – The Mark Burchfield Band will perform bluegrass music.

July 19 – Tim White and Friends will play country music.

July 26 – The Cajun Strangers will perform Cajun music.

July 11 – Ozark Folk School Graduation Concert – 7:00pm
Classical and traditional music performed by the students of the Ozark Folk School.

July 13 – mountain dulcimer class – 9:00am-4:00pm
In this class, students will learn how to play the mountain dulcimer, a traditional folk instrument.

July 18 – square dance – 7:30pm-9:30pm
Come enjoy an evening of traditional square dancing! No experience necessary.
