This will require you to have a copy of the game, as well as a way to play it on your computer (such as an emulator). To convert the music, you will need to have a program that can extract the files from a .sav file. For this purpose, we recommend using PKHeX. It is a free and open source program that supports all generations of Pokemon games.

Once you have PKHeX, open it and select the “Open” button in the top left corner. In the file explorer that appears, navigate to the folder where your Pokemon Soul Silver save file is located and select it.

After the save file has been loaded, go to the “Tools” tab and then click on “Music Manager.” In the window that appears, you will see a list of all the songs in the game. To convert a song, select it and then click on the “Export” button.

A new window will appear asking you where you want to save the song. Choose a location and then click on the “Save” button. The song will now be saved as an .mp3 file which you can play on any device!

Enjoy the Music

First, you will need to locate your save file. The save file for Pokémon SoulSilver is located in the folder titled “Nintendo DS.” inside of this folder, you will find a folder for your game cartridge. The name of this folder will be the same as your game cartridge. For example, if your game cartridge is titled “Pokemon SoulSilver,” the folder that you are looking for will also be titled “Pokemon SoulSilver.”

Inside of this folder, you will find a number of files. One of these files will be named “elds.sav.” This is the save file for your game. Right-click on this file and select “Copy.” Next, open up a new window and navigate to the location on your computer where you would like to save the file. Right-click in this location and select “Paste.”

Once iTuness has detected your game, it will display a list of options on the left side of the screen. Select “Music” from this list.

You should now see all of the songs that are stored on your Pokémon SoulSilver game cartridge listed in iTuness under the “Music” heading.
