We present year-round concerts, jams sessions, dances, workshops, and other events featuring local, regional, and touring artists.
The PFMS was founded in 1984 by a group of local folk music enthusiasts. Our mission is to support and nurture the traditional arts in our community by presenting quality concerts and educational programs at an affordable price. We are committed to bringing the joy of folk music to as many people as possible!
The Society is run entirely by volunteers. We have a small paid staff who handle our day-to-day operations, but the majority of our work is done by generous members of the community who donate their time and talents to keep the Society running. We couldn’t do it without them!
