In 1967, wonderland appeared on The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover side by side with Alice in Wonderland illustrations by John Tenniel. This was an early example of Psychedelic Rock being used to reinforce the concepts of psychedelia within pop culture.
