In 2008, Rolling Stone ranked them number 37 on its list of the “Greatest Artists of All Time” and ranked them as one of only seven bands included on its updated “The Immortals – The Greatest Artists of All Time” list released after Mercury’s death in 1991. In 2012 they were voted by the magazine readers as the greatest ever artists in UK music history.

Elvis was admitted to the Homeopathic Hospital in Memphis on April 28, 1960 for exhaustion and dehydration. He checked out three days later and never returned.

In 1966, Elvis rented a home in Bel Air while he filmed the movie Paradise Hawaiian Style. He only lived there for about five months before returning to Memphis.

The family of the Queen of Rock Music

The family of the Queen of Rock Music, Tina Turner, has announced her death at the age of 76. Turner’s representative Grahame Reynolds said she died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday morning.

Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush, Tennessee. She began her career as a backing singer for Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm before going on to enjoy huge success as a solo artist. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.

Turner is survived by her sons Craig and Ronnie Turner, and her grandchildren Rodney and Mia.
