The band’s members are Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), Marley D. Williams (bass guitar), Khris Royal (saxophone), Eric Rachmany (lead vocals and guitar), and Jeff Araki (trombone). Carey, Finley, and Williams are the only original members of the band; Royal and Rachmany joined in 2007, and Araki joined in 2014.

Formed in 2004 while the members were attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, Rebelution released their self-titled debut album on their own label 87 Music in 2007. Bright Side of Life, their second album was released on Easy Star Records on July 21, 2009 and topped the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart as well as iTunes Reggae Albums Chart. Peace of Mind followed in 2012, charting at number 13 on Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Reggae Albums chart. Count Me In was released on June 10, 2014 reaching number 4 on the Billboard 200 and topping the Reggae Albums chart for a third time. Falling Into Place was Rebelution’s first album to be produced entirely by the band themselves and was released on June 3, 2016.

Rebelution has toured extensively, both as headliners and supporting other artists, and have performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the world, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo Music Festival, Austin City Limits Music Festival and Hangout Fest.
