In part 2 of our series on the best of the fest, we take a look at the second half of the lineup for Reel Rock Music: The Best of the Fest. This year’s fest features an eclectic mix of genres, with something for everyone.

On Friday night, catch indie darlings Grizzly Bear, whose new album Painted Ruins is sure to be a hit with audiences. They’ll be followed by New York rap legends Wu-Tang Clan, who will be sure to get the crowd moving. Rounding out the night are Scottish alt-rockers Biffy Clyro, who are sure to please with their high-energy show.

On Saturday, things start off with a bang with British grime artist Skepta. He’ll be followed by electro-pop duo Hundred Waters, who are fresh off their critically acclaimed album The Communion. Later in the night, headliners Modest Mouse take the stage, and you won’t want to miss their performance of hits like “Float On” and “Lampshades on Fire.” Rounding out the evening are experimental hip-hop trio Shabazz Palaces, who are sure to dazzle with their innovative sound.

And on Sunday, things close out with a bang with sets from rising star Jorja Smith, indie darling Sufjan Stevens, and legends Belle and Sebastian. So don’t miss out on what is sure to be an incredible weekend of music!

In our last article, we took a look at some of the best music from the Reel Rock Film Festival. This year’s festival was packed with great films and even better music. In this article, we will take a look at some of the best musical performances from the fest.

First up is Danny Howells. Danny is a world-renowned DJ who has played at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world. His set at Reel Rock was no exception. Danny brought his A-game to the festival, and his set was one of the highlights of the weekend.

Next is LYNX. LYNX is a hip-hop artist who has been making waves in the music industry with his unique style and flow. He performed at Reel Rock for the first time this year, and he definitely left his mark on the festival.

Last but not least is G Jones. G Jones is a bass music producer who always brings the heat when he performs. His set at Reel Rock was no different, and he had the crowd going wild from start to finish.

This year’s tour kicks off September 5th in Squamish, BC and will showcase a brand new crop of athletes and films from the most cutting-edge producers in the genre. As always, Reel Rock tour founder Josh Lowell is on the hunt for fresh faces and new stories to share with fans around the world.

-Climbing partners Matt Segal and Will Stanhope tackling one of Canada’s hardest big wall climbs – The Wizard Link-up in Squamish, BC – in segal/stanhope: wizard link up.
