Rock Bottom Musical is a compilation of songs that you need to know. The song selection is based off of what is popular in the music industry today.

“Rock Bottom”

Rock Bottom is a song by American rock band Blink-182, released on July 1, 1997 as the fourth single from the group’s second studio album, Dude Ranch (1997). While walking along a beach at night, DeLonge came up with the song’s title and central lyrical idea of people hitting “rock bottom” and finding comfort in each other. The band then wrote the song’s musical arrangement and recorded it with producer Jerry Finn.

The song was included on Dude Ranch after DeLonge expressed to the band that he wanted to write a song with a “raw feel” similar to those on their debut album Cheshire Cat (1994). “Rock Bottom” is Blink-182’s heaviest song on Dude Ranch, due in part to its use of Drop D tuning. Critical reception to “Rock Bottom” was positive, with many reviewers praising its heaviness and Thickfreakness-esque composition.

In 2003, Q placed “Rock Bottom” at number 819 in their list of the 1,001 Greatest Songs Ever.

The costumes for Rock Bottom are truly unique, and one of the most defining aspects of the show. The costume designer, Jody Long, was inspired by natural fibers and earth tones to create a look that was both primitive and futuristic.

The clothing is made mostly from organic materials like wool, hemp, and linen. The colors are muted and earthy, with splashes of bright reds, oranges, and greens.

The characters all have their own unique style that reflects their personality. For example, the lead character wearing all white represents her innocence and purity. The use of color is also important in Rock Bottom. White is often used to represent hope, while black represents despair.
