Let It Bleed (1969) marked the first appearance of drummer Mick Taylor who replaced Brian Jones on a full-time basis during 1969. Taylor played on all subsequent studio recordings until 1974 when he quit to join Taylor’s former blues band mate Peter Frampton’s band Humble Pie. Ronnie Wood joined The Rolling Stones in 1975 as a permanent replacement for Taylor but also played on their 1976 album Black and Blue which featured both guitarists.
