Ned Schneebly: Dewey’s friend and roommate. A successful singer-songwriter who is in a band called “No Vacancy” with his girlfriend Patty Di Marco.

Patty Di Marco: Ned’s girlfriend and bandmate in “No Vacancy.” She is not thrilled when Ned starts living with Dewey.

Lawrence: The nerdy bassist of Dewey’s band. He is not very confident but comes into his own by the end of the show. Gilbert : One of Rosalie Mullins’ administrative assistants at Horace Green. He is very by-the-book but starts to loosen up under Dewey’s influence. Freddie : The drummer of Dewey’s band. He is laid-back and easygoing but takes his music very seriously. Marcy : A background singer in Dewey’s band. She is bubbly and always has a smile on her face.”

School of Rock the Musical: Who Are the Characters?

In the hit Broadway musical School of Rock, a ragtag group of talented kids come together to form a rock band under the guidance of their substitute teacher, Dewey Finn. But who are these characters, and what do they bring to the show?

Dewey Finn is the larger-than-life lead singer of the band. He’s a wannabe rockstar who’s struggling to make it big. When he’s not onstage, he’s trying to figure out how to make ends meet.

Dewey’s best friend and lead guitarist is Ned Schneebly. Ned is a successful businessman who’s married to Dewey’s ex-girlfriend, Patty DiMarco. Ned is always level-headed and tries to keep Dewey in check.

Patty is the daughter of wealthy parents who expect her to have a successful career like her father. She married Ned for stability, but she’s not happy in her marriage. She longs for excitement and adventure.

The band’s bass player is Billy Kostecki, a nerdy kid who’s madly in love with his school librarian, Rosalie Mullins. Billy is shy and introverted, but he comes alive when he plays his bass guitar.

Katie Nanna is the band’s roadie. She’s a no-nonsense woman who keeps the band organized and functioning. Katie doesn’t take any nonsense from Dewey or the other members of the band.

Rounding out the band are two talented twin sisters, Marcy and Louise Grant. Marcy plays keyboards and Louise plays drums. The sisters are complete opposites – Marcy is outgoing and social while Louise is introverted and shy – but they work well together as a team.

Dewey Finn is the fast-talking, guitar-shredding lead singer of the band who, in addition to being a total rock star, is also a total slacker. He’s kicked out of his band for being too lazy and carefree, and he soon finds himself teaching a group of ragtag kids how to rock.

Dewey is played by Mike White, who is best known for his writing credits on movies like School of Rock, Nacho Libre and The Holiday. He also starred in the TV show Enlightened.

Ned Schneebly is the co-founder of the titular school in School of Rock the Musical. He’s a struggling musician who agrees to pose as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school in order to make some quick cash. But Ned has a heart of gold, and he soon finds himself connecting with his students and helping them find their own love of music. Get to know more about Ned Schneebly below!

Ned Schneebly is portrayed by actor Mike White in School of Rock the Musical. He is a struggling musician who dreams of making it big. When he’s not playing gigs with his band, he’s working at an unpopular tourist attractions as a costumed character. In order to make some quick cash, Ned poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. At first, Ned is more interested in getting through the day without getting caught than he is in teaching his students. But he soon discovers that he has a lot to offer his students, and that they have a lot to offer him.

Ned helps his students discover their own talents and love for music. He encourages them to be themselves and follow their dreams. And in turn, his students help him remember why he loves music in the first place. By the end of the show, Ned has found his true calling: teaching kids how to rock out!

Patty DiMarco appears in the School of Rock movie as a sympathetic bank teller who helps Dewey out when he’s down on his luck. In the musical, Patty is Dewey’s long-suffering girlfriend who is constantly frustrated by his total dedication to his band. However, she comes to see the good in what he’s doing and eventually becomes his biggest fan.

School of Rock the Musical: Get to Know the Kids

School of Rock the Musical is a stage adaptation of the 2003 film of the same name. The show made its Broadway debut in 2015, and has since been produced all over the world. The story follows a group of kids who are transformed from average students into a rock band, under the tutelage of struggling musician Dewey Finn.

Katie rounds out School of Rock’s band on bass guitar. She loves playing music, but she also has a passion for fashion design. In her spare time, Katie likes to sketch clothes and listen to her favorite bands.
