As far as I know, there are only two official piano collections for Soul Eater: ” Resonance of the Soul -Will-” and “The Best of the Best -Soul Eater Not!-“. This review is for The Best of the Best. It contains some of my favorite pieces from both collections, as well as a couple that are new to me.
First up is “Death the Kid”, which is my favorite track on the album. It’s a beautiful, ethereal piece that captures Kid’s persona perfectly. Next is “Maka Albarn”, which is a lively, upbeat track that really gets your blood pumping. “Black Star” is a fun, upbeat track that’s perfect for head-banging along to, and “Tsubaki Nakatsukasa” is a gorgeous, melancholy ballad that will tug at your heartstrings.
Finally, we have “Excalibur”, which is perhaps the most iconic Soul Eater track of all. It’s an absolutely epic piece that will send chills down your spine, and it’s perfectlyfitting for the show’s protagonist.
