Introduction

Are you a classical music lover? Do you enjoy trying new wines? If you answered yes to both, then the St. Paul’s Classical Music Crawl is perfect for you! Taking place on October 12th, the crawl will feature some of the best classical music performances in the city, as well as complimentary wine tastings.

What is a crawl?

A crawl is defined as a “drinking party in which participants move from bar to bar.” We like to think of our Classical Music Crawl as a pub-crawl for music lovers! Every crawl has a different theme, and features chamber music performances in intimate spaces around Lowertown St. Paul.

So whether you’re a long-time classical music lover, or new to the genre, we hope you’ll join us for an evening of music and crawling!

What is classical music?

Classical music is a broad term that usually refers to the period of music from 1750 to 1820. This era includes the works of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven, who are some of the most well-known and respected composers in history. The term “classical music” can also refer to any music that is created following the traditions of Western Art Music, which includes but is not limited to the periods of Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary music.

The Crawl

The St. Paul Classical Music Crawl is a free, annual event that offers a chance to explore the city’s classical music scene. The Crawl features over 30 venues, including churches, schools, and community centers, all within a two-mile radius. The Crawl offers something for everyone, with performances ranging from solo piano to full orchestra.

What is the St. Paul’s Classical Music Crawl?

The Crawl is a annual event that celebrates classical music in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is organized by the St. Paul’s Friends of Music, a group that promotes and supports classical music in the city. The Crawl takes place over two weekends in May and features performances by local and national classical musicians in venues across St. Paul.

When is the St. Paul’s Classical Music Crawl?

The St. Paul’s Classical Music Crawl is held annually on the first Saturday in May.

Where is the St. Paul’s Classical Music Crawl?

The St. Paul’s Classical Music Crawl is a guided tour of some of the best live classical music venues in St. Paul, Minnesota. The crawl takes place on the first Thursday of every month, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

During the crawl, participants will visit three different venues, each featuring a different live classical music performance. Venues for the crawl are typically small and intimate, providing guests with an up-close and personal experience with the music.

At each venue, guests will be given a map of the crawl route, as well as a list of all the performances taking place that night. Guests are free to explore the venues at their own pace, and can stay for as long or as little as they like at each stop.
