Music at the Veranda:

The Veranda at Starved Rock Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy live music and stunning views of the Illinois River. From May through September, the Veranda hosts local and regional bands playing a variety of genres, including jazz, blues, country, and rock.

Soak up the summer sun on the outdoor patio or grab a seat inside the air-conditioned Veranda Café – there’s no bad seat in the house! Check out the music schedule below and make plans to join us for a show.

There are many great places to enjoy live music in the area surrounding Starved Rock State Park. Here is a list of some of the most popular venues:

The Veranda at Starved Rock Lodge – This indoor/outdoor venue features a wide variety of musical acts from May through October. Concert-goers can enjoy terrific views of the Illinois River and Starved Rock while listening to everything from country to classic rock.

The Back Porch at Mooseheart – Located just a short drive from Starved Rock, this outdoor venue features a wide variety of musical genres throughout the summer months. Guests can enjoy food and drinks from the on-site restaurant while listening to everything from jazz to country.

Hailey’s Harp and Pub – This Irish pub in downtown Ottawa is a great place to catch live music seven nights a week. Hailey’s features everything from local talent to nationally-known touring acts.

The Veranda at Starved Rock Resort is one such venue that offers live music performances throughout the year. The resort is located in Utica, Illinois, about 90 minutes from Chicago. The Veranda features a wide variety of musical genres, from jazz and blues to country and rock.

Whether you’re a music lover or simply looking for a new hobby, attending a live performance at the Veranda is a great way to learn more about music and support local musicians.
