The Top Techno Music Artists of 2015 include many familiar names as well as some newcomers. These are the artists that are making the best techno music today.

Skrillex

Skrillex, real name Sonny Moore, is an American producer and DJ who first made waves in the music industry with his 2010 EP, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. A former member of post-hardcore band From First to Last, Moore found success as a solo artist with his unique brand of dubstep. But it was his work on Korn’s 2011 album The Path of Totality that really made Skrillex a household name. He has since gone on to win six Grammy Awards, including three for Best Dance Recording.

Deadmau5

Joel Thomas Zimmerman (born January 5, 1981), better known by his stage name deadmau5 (stylized as deadmau5; pronounced “dead mouse”), is a Canadian record producer and DJ from Toronto, Ontario. Zimmerman produces a variety of styles within the progressive house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic music. His works have been included in numerous compilation albums, such as the 2007 In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza CD. The February 2008 issue of Mixmag’s music magazine included a free CD which featured, among other artists, Zimmerman’s “Faxing Berlin”.

Zimmerman has received six Grammy Award nominations for his work. He has worked with other producers and DJs, such as Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire and Wolfgang Gartner. On a number of releases, he has collaborated with Melleefresh. An early 12″] single produced on vinyl titled “I Don’t Want No Other” was released by Joel Zimmerman during the mid-1990s under the alias “Deadman”, followed by another 12″] under his own name titled “Get Scraped.” His debut album, titled Get Scraped, was released on July 26, 2005. A 2006 remix album titled Vexillology was staged as an elaborate gift to fans fill vainglorious interludes between creation spurts via online publication on various peer-to-peer networks and file sharing services such Myspace and purevolume.[citation needed] Two self-released compilations titled Deadmau5 Circa 1998-2002 and A Little Oblique were met with support from Mau5trap colleagues Skream and Benga.[citation needed]

In 2008 he had another lead single Miami 2 Ibiza clean version ranked 1 in Canada for 3 weeks also ranked 3 in United Kingdom also ranked 19 in United States on Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart while instrumental version ranked 50 in United States Billboard Hot 100 chart on issue date October 10 it eventually peaked at 45.[17][18] In 2009 he was ranked 8th position in URB’s Top DJ poll.[19] Zimmerman has received six Grammy Award nominations for his work

David Guetta is a world-renowned French DJ, record producer, and remixer. He has released five studio albums and his latest, Listen, debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. Guetta has sold over nine million albums and thirty million singles worldwide. He has also won multiple Grammy Awards.

Diplo

Diplo, born Thomas Wesley Pentz, is an American DJ, record producer, rapper, and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. He is the co-founder and lead member of Major Lazer, a electronic music group. His 2013 collaboration with Skrillex on the track “Where Are Ü Now” won Best Dance Recording at the 58th Grammy Awards.

Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer. His debut studio album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and contained the top-ten singles “Acceptable in the 80s” and “The Girls”. His second studio album, Ready for the Weekend (2009), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and includes the chart-topper “I’m Not Alone”, as well as the top ten singles “Ready for the Weekend” and “Flashback”. Harris’s third studio album, 18 Months (2012), saw him achieve greater international success. It contained the singles “Bounce”, “Feel So Close”, “Let’s Go”, and “Sweet Nothing”. He released his fourth studio album, Motion, in 2014. It debuted at number two in the UK and number five in the US.
