In this blog post, we will introduce you to 5 techno music producers that you need to know. Techno music has been around for a while and it is still going strong.

Introduction

Techno is a form of electronic dance music that emerged in the late 1980s. It is characterized by a repetitive 4/4 beat and often has a industrial, Hi-NRG, or trance-like feel to it. The term “techno” was first used in the late 1980s by DJ Derrick May, one of the founders of the Detroit techno scene. Techno music is often created with synthesizers, drum machines, and digital audio workstations.

There are many different subgenres of techno music, but the five producers listed below are some of the most influential and respected in the genre.

Born in England, Hawtin began his career as a DJ in Detroit in the early 1990s. He quickly gained a following for his inventive style of mixing and producing techno music. In 1999, he founded the record label Minus, which has released music by some of the world’s top techno DJs and producers. Hawtin is also known for his work as a performer and visual artist. He has released several albums under the alias Plastikman, and his live shows are renowned for their use of cutting-edge technology.

Mills is also a member of the X-102 project and founder of the Axis record label. His work often explores the relationship between man and technology, and he has released numerous albums and singles under his own name as well as various aliases.

Carl Cox

As a three-time DJ Mag Top 100 poll winner and three-time Grammy nominee, Carl Cox is one of the most popular and prolific techno producers of our time. A veteran of the UK rave scene, Cox has been at the forefront of the techno movement since the early 1990s. With a string of hit singles and groundbreaking mix albums to his name, Cox is as influential as he is popular, and he shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
