“Despacito” (English: “Slowly”) is a single by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee from the former’s upcoming studio album. On January 12, 2017, Universal Music Latin released “Despacito” and its music video, which shows both artists performing the song in La Perla neighborhood of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and the local bar La Factoría. The remix version featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber was released on April 17, 2017. A second remix version featuring Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny was released on April 28, 2017.

The original song peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for 16 non-consecutive weeks and became the longest running Spanish-language song in that chart’s history. It also tied the all-time record for single weeks at number one in Spain (22 weeks) and Australia (16 weeks), and became the first ever predominantly Spanish-language song to peak at number one in Japan. As of July 2018, “Despacito” is ranked fourth on Spotify’s list of most streamed songs of all time with over 4.6 billion streams, and is now considered the most streamed song of all time worldwide as well as being YouTube’s most watched video with over 6 billion views as of October 2020.

That’s What I Like is a song by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars from his third studio album, 24K Magic (2016). The song was written by Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence, Christopher Brody Brown, James Fauntleroy, John McCullagh, and Ray Charles McCullagh. It was produced by the Stereotypes. “That’s What I Like” peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming Mars’ seventh single to do so.

“Wild Thoughts” is a song recorded by American musician DJ Khaled, released as the second single from his tenth studio album, Grateful (2017). The song features Barbadian singer Rihanna and American singer Bryson Tiller. It was written by Khaled, Rihanna, Tiller, Najja Johnson-Coleman, Ashad Smith, and Robury Jackson Jr., with production handled by Khaled. An uptempo club track, “Wild Thoughts” samples Stevie Nicks’ 1981 Fleetwood Mac hit “Edge of Seventeen” throughout the song.

The single debuted at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). With one million equivalent units in sales and streams it became Rihanna’s 23rd million-selling single in the United States. Elsewhere it peaked at number one in Australia and Canada, while reaching the top three in Belgium (Wallonia), France, Ireland, Lebanon, Malaysia, New Zealand and Switzerland. A music video for “Wild Thoughts”, directed by Joseph Kahn was released on June 15th 2017. The video caused controversy for its allegedly provocative portrayal of women and Khan’s use of brownface makeup.
